Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Situent (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Situent is a voice-powered AI scheduling assistant that converts spoken daily activities into structured schedules. The App offers both a free guest (local) mode and a signed-in mode with cloud storage and Google Calendar integration.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content of your recordings and schedules.
• You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the App or its underlying services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Google Calendar Integration

If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize the App to create calendar events in your primary Google Calendar on your explicit request. The App will not read, modify, or delete any existing calendar data. You can revoke this access at any time from the App settings or from your Google Account permissions.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to function. Your use of the App constitutes acceptance of their respective terms:

• ElevenLabs — speech-to-text transcription
• Google Gemini — AI schedule generation
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, cloud storage, and encrypted key management

Data and Privacy

Your use of data within the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. Guest users’ data is stored only on their device. Signed-in users’ data is stored on our servers and can be permanently deleted at any time.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated schedules will be accurate. The App is a productivity tool and should not be relied upon for time-sensitive or critical decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including data loss.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
